Zachary Jacobson has been identified by authorities as the victim in a motorcycle collision that took place on April 6 in Lake Elsinore. Mr. Jacobson was driving a motorcycle on the Ortega Highway section of State Route 74 prior to 4:15 p.m. when he encountered another vehicle and veered off the highway, dropping some 200 feet. Mr. Jacobsen died at the scene. The California Highway Patrol is investigating the incident. Mr. Jacobsen was 27-years-old and a resident of Hemet.
