William Dorsey, 76, has been identified by authorities as the victim in a pedestrian collision that occurred in Palm Desert on April 29. Mr. Dorsey was on Town Center Way, in the vicinity of Hahn Road, when he was struck by a Ford pickup truck driven by a 44-year-old male at around 8:00 in the evening.  First responders arrived and took the man to Eisenhower Medical Center, where here was admitted to the intensive care unit, but died shortly thereafter. Witnesses are being sought by the Palm Desert Police Department as an investigation continues.

We extend our deepest condolences to the friends and family of the victim during this difficult time.
