William Campbell has been identified by authorities as the victim in a Rancho Mirage bicycle collision that occurred on December 13. Mr. Campbell was riding his bicycle prior to 7:00 a.m. on Ramon Road traveling in the same direction as a white Honda Accord, reports indicated. The Accord struck Mr. Campbell’s bicycle, causing him to be ejected. The California Highway Patrol is investigating the collision, which authorities say may have involved a third driver.
