Wilbur Menth has been identified by authorities as the victim in a pedestrian collision that occurred October 2 on Larkin Road in Live Oak. Mr. Menth, who was 79 years-old, was walking or standing on the road shortly before 10:00 p.m. when an automobile struck and killed him. Witnesses said he was waving his arms and standing in the road at the time for reasons that remain unknown. The driver, 53 year-old Darshan Johal, reportedly told authorities he didn’t see Mr. Menth on the road. The collusion is currently under investigation.
