Teresita Collins has been identified by authorities as the victim in a San Francisco pedestrian collision that occurred on December 12. Ms. Collins was hit by a vehicle, possibly a dark sedan, at around 3:30 a.m. in Nob Hill at the corner of Leavenworth and Bush.  Authorities say that, in a surveillance video, the driver stopped but then continued driving. The woman was taken to a nearby hospital but did not survive. The San Francisco resident was 58. The San Francisco Police Department is investigating the case.

We extend our deepest condolences to the friends and family of the victim during this difficult time.
