Tabitha Boyd has been identified by authorities as the victim in a an alleged hit-and-run pedestrian collision that occurred on September 11 in Oxnard.  Ms. Boyd, described as a 37-year-old homeless woman, was walking on Ventura Road prior to 11:40 p.m. near Juniper Street. She was struck by an SUV, described as dark in color, which failed to stop and continued driving. A number of other cars then struck the fallen woman and kept driving as well. The tragic incident is under investigation.
