Sarah Villareal, Eva Villareal, Eli Villareal, two sisters and a brother, have been identified by authorities as the deceased in a collision involving four vehicles accident that took place in Emeryville on February 28. The young people were aged 22, 18, and 26 respectively; another sibling, 17-year-old Aaron Villareal, was also badly injured. The family members were driving on the I-80 towards San Francisco to see their hospitalized father. Tragically, at roughly 1:00 a.m., the SUV apparently went out its lane and hit a stopped semi truck. The driver of the truck, who was reportedly asleep inside, was cited for parking the vehicle illegally.  The California Highway Patrol is investigating the cause of the tragedy.

We extend our deepest condolences to the friends and family of the victims during this difficult time.
