Robert Tockstein, a 69 year-old Ramona resident, has been identified by authorities as the deceased in a Poway pedestrian collision, which followed a pedestrian accident involving his wife. Sometime after 8:00 p.m. on November 13, the car driven by Mr. Tockstein’s wife had struck a pedestrian in the crosswalk at Twin Peaks Road and Midland Road. After the pedestrian was taken to the hospital with reportedly minor injuries, Mr. Tockstein apparently left the car to begin moving it, when he was struck by a third vehicle. He was taken to an area hospital but was declared dead shortly thereafter.

We extend our deepest condolences to the friends and family of the victim during this difficult time.
