Robert Ferguson has been identified by authorities as the victim in a semi-truck collision that occurred June 20 in Moreno Valley. Mr. Ferguson was in driving a 2019 Freightliner headed south on the 215 Freeway shortly before 2:30 p.m. when a Chevrolet Tahoe SUV was allegedly traveling at a high rate speed and cutting between vehicles. The Tahoe then collided with the semi, causing it to roll over. Mr. Ferguson died at the scene. Reports indicate that the driver was picked up by another vehicle and fled. The California Highway Patrol is seeking witnesses to the tragedy. Robert Ferguson was a 36-year-old resident of Highland.
