Robert Cooper has been identified by authorities as the victim in motorcycle collision that Fresno County Sheriff’s say followed a police pursuit shortly after midnight on October 18. Mr. Cooper, a 46 year-old Clovis resident, reportedly failed to respond when deputies attempted to pull the motorcyclist over. Authorities say that the incident became a high-speed chase, with the motorcycle traveling at velocities over 90 mph, and a Fresno Police helicopter became involved. Unfortunately, Mr. Cooper collided with a fence and reportedly died at the scene. The crash is under investigation.

We extend our deepest condolences to the friends and family of the victim during this difficult time.
