Randall Utter, a 61-year-old Antioch resident, has been identified by authorities as the victim in a collision that occurred on June 11 in Pittsburg. The California Highway Patrol says that Mr. Utter was driving his Harley-Davidson motorcycle on Highway 4 when he collided with a car, a BMW. The man was ejected from the motorbike and reportedly perished at the scene from his injuries. The driver of the car, who was not hurt, stopped and spoke to authorities and was not arrested or cited. Nevertheless, the CHP is investigating and seeking out witnesses.

Our deepest condolences to the friends and family of the victim during this difficult time.
