Pete Liva Save has been named by authorities as the victim in an alleged hit-and-run pedestrian collision that occurred in Long Beach on the night of December 4 at approximately 10:30. Mr. Save, a 54 year-old Long Beach resident, was reportedly attempting to cross Long Beach Boulevard when he was hit by a newer model, black sedan. The driver of the sedan allegedly left Mr. Save in the roadway and fled. Authorities believe he turned right onto Artesia Boulevard. The incident is currently under investigation by Long Beach Police.
