Paul Douglas Kirk has been identified by authorities as the victim in a collision that occurred before 12:30 p.m. September 25 on Highway 18 in San Bernardino. Mr. Kirk, a 25 year-old resident of Hemet, was reportedly heading north when his motorcycle went off the road and hit a guard rail. First responders took Mr. Kirk to an area hospital, but he reportedly passed on within an hour. The reason for the motorcycle apparently going out of control is under investigation by the California Highway Patrol (CHP).

We extend our deepest condolences to the friends and family of the victim during this difficult time.
