Nicole Marks Brown has been identified by authorities as the deceased in a tragic and bizarre auto accident that took place on July 3 in the Broadway and Manchester neighborhood of South Los Angeles. The 45-year-old mother was sleeping with her pre-school age daughter in her bedroom when a white car crashed into the room from outside. Reports indicate that Ms. Brown’s injuries came from shards of the building but the car also reportedly caught fire as well. The female driver of the car and passenger described as a 55-year-old male were hospitalized in critical condition. Three others, including the 4-year-old daughter of Ms. Crown, were injured. Los Angeles police are investigating to determine the reasons for the crash, including whether a DUI might have been involved.

We extend our deepest condolences to the friends and family of the victim during this difficult time.
