Mohammad A. Bath has been identified by authorities as the deceased in a rear-end collision that occurred in Yuba City on October 10. Mr. Bath, a 54-year old local resident was driving a Ford auto on Highway 20 eastbound prior to 3:10 p.m. in the vicinity of Lytle Road. Traffic slowed down due to a crash that had occurred. At that point Richard B. Herryford, a 56-year-old Sutter resident, was driving his vehicle and reportedly rear-ended the Ford, apparently not noticing the traffic slowdown. Mr. Bath died from his injuries while Mr. Herryford was reportedly unharmed. An investigation is ongoing.
