Michael Tinonga, a 33-year-old Cameron Park resident, has been identified by authorities as the victim in a pedestrian collision involving two cars in an accident that took place in Placerville on February 28. Mr. Tingonga was walking on an offramp of Highway 50 some time prior to 9:30 p.m. when he was struck by two vehicles, a Toyota Prius driven by William Creamer, 61 and a Placerville resident, and then by a Toyota Scion that was being driven by 63-year-old Sacramento resident, Richard Lopes. Reports indicate that visibility in the area was poor. Authorities are investigating the incident.
