Michael Nuke has been identified by authorities as the victim in a motorcycle collision that took place in Angeles National Forest on August 14. Mr. Nuke was riding a motorbike described as a recent model Suzuki on Highway 39. Reports indicate that he failed to make a curve, crossed into an opposing lane, and collided with an SUV driven by a 66-year-old Upland resident, who received mild injuries. Mr. Nuke apparently was dead prior to the arrival of first responder. He was 46-years-old. The case remains under investigation.

Our deepest condolences to the friends and family of the victim during this difficult time.
