Michael Lee McIntyre has been identified by authorities as the victim of a bicycle accident that occurred in the city of Long Beach. The accident at approximately 1:30 in the afternoon on September 13. Mr. McIntyre reportedly attempted to a turn from Orange Avenue onto East 52nd Street during a red light, when he was struck by 2018 Chevrolet Cruz driven by a 21 year-old female.  The woman stayed at the scene and was not arrested. The bicyclist, reportedly a homeless individual, died three days after being taken to the hospital. The tragedy is currently being investigated.
