Michael Alarcon has been identified by authorities as the victim in a single car accident that occurred after 9:30 a.m. on the morning of October 17. Authorities say that they believe a 2004 Honda Accord driven by Mr. Alarcon was taking the onramp to Highway 14 in Lancaster when it apparently went out of control, with the overturned vehicle eventually colliding with a tree. Mr. Alarcon, a 28 year-old Palmdale resident, died at the scene. Authorities say that they do not the cause of the accident, but the incident is under investigation.
