Tulio Viana and Megan Cota, both 23, have been identified by authorities as the deceased in a wrong-way collision that occurred in Pacifica on February 09 shortly before 4:30 a.m. The deceased were reportedly passengers in a Toyota Prius that was headed south on the northbound side of Highway 1 and collided with a Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck. The driver of the Prius was seriously injured and hospitalized. Two male occupants of the truck were also treated for less serious injuries. The California Highway Patrol (CHP) is investigating the tragedy. Viana and Cota were both residents of Daly City.
