Matthew Hannah has been identified by authorities as the victim in an alleged hit-and-run pedestrian accident that occurred July 3 in North Hollywood. At approximately 8:30 p.m., Mr. Hannah, age 35 was attempting to cross bustling Victory Boulevard near the 170 Freeway (aka the Hollywood Freeway).  He was struck by a vehicle, described as an SUV, dark in color. The driver of the vehicle continued to drive and did not attempt to help Mr. Hannah, according to the Los Angeles Police Department, Valley Division. First-responders arrived but said the that man had died at the scene. LAPD traffic detectives are investigating and seeking out witnesses and anonymous tips.
