Pang Choy and Marco Vargas have been identified by authorities as the deceased in an automotive collision that occurred in Hawaiian Gardens on October 13.  Mr. Choy, a 45-year-old Rowland Heights resident and Mr. Vargas, a 29-year-old local resident, were both involved in an accident involving an SUV and two additional vehicles that occurred shortly after 2:30 a.m. at the crossing of Carson Street and Pioneer Boulevard. One driver was thrown from his vehicle while another was severely injured inside his vehicle. Both men reportedly perished at the scene from their injuries while a third individual was taken to an area hospital.
