Lucia Fernandez Estaban has been identified by authorities as the deceased in a two-vehicle collision involving a big rig and a pickup truck in Riverside on February 4 that injured four other people, including two children. Ms. Estaban was driving the pickup shortly before 11:00 p.m. somewhere near Jefferson Street and Lincoln Avenue. For reasons that have not been given, the two vehicles collided, with the pickup truck going under the trailer of the semi. Ms. Estaban, a 28-year-old Riverside resident perished from her injuries. Two children, however, were rescued from the back of the pick-up with less serious injuries as was an adult male. The driver of the big-rig was also reportedly injured. The collision is currently being investigated, authorities say.
