Leonard Flores has been identified by authorities as the victim of an alleged two-vehicle collision involving a case of driving under the influence. Mr. Flores was driving eastward on Central Avenue in Riverside on October 27 before 5:30 a.m. when a Toyota SUV reportedly swerved into his lane from the opposite direction and crashed into a communications box. Mr. Flores, 52, died at the scene. The two occupants of the SUV received minor injuries. The driver of the vehicle, Brenda Baker Phansukhumthana, 19, was arrested on charges of a vehicular manslaughter and a felony DUI.
