Krisanna Parke, 41, has been named by authorities as the second deceased individual in the wake of a deadly motorcycle collision that occurred in Nipomo on November 10. Motorcyclist Mark Bradford Hurd, a 42 year-old Santa Maria resident, was riding his 2018 Harley Davidson on Wineman Road accompanied by a passenger, Ms. Parke. A stopped Chevrolet Silverado truck driven by 62 year-old John Ricker entered traffic and entered Mr. Hurd’s path when the Harley Davidson collided with the pick-up. Both Mr. Hurd and Ms. Parke were thrown from the motorbike. Mr. Hurd died at the scene. Ms. Parke, however, was taken to an area medical center but unfortunately died one week later.
We extend our deepest condolences to the friends and families of the victims during this difficult time.
