Kenneth Mabray has been identified by authorities as the victim in a pedestrian collision that occurred on June 2 in Long Beach. Mr. Mabray was crossing the street at the intersection of 16th Street and Santa Fe Avenue at roughly 10:00 p.m., possibly outside of the crosswalk. Authorities say he may have been drinking prior to the accident. The driver stopped and cooperated as Mr. Mabray was rushed to the hospital, where he died a few hours later. Witnesses are being sought as the Long Beach Police Department investigation continues, however. Mr. Mabray was 51-years-old and resided in Long Beach.

We extend our deepest condolences to the friends and family of the victim during this difficult time.
