Kennedy Francisco, an 11-year-old San Bernardino resident, has been identified by authorities as the deceased in a solo automotive collision that took place near Needles on November 28. The youngster was apparently inside of a vehicle that left the load and overturned just after 6:00 a.m. on the Interstate 40 Freeway heading eastward. On impact, the 11-year-old was thrown from the vehicle and struck by another vehicle, causing the death. The California Highway Patrol is investigating the tragedy.
