Keante Hoyett, 27, and Nathaniel Joseph, 28, have been identified by authorities as two of three deceased in a street racing collision that occurred on March 30 in the Los Angeles neighborhood of Hancock Park. Mr. Hoyett and Mr. Mr. Joseph were, authorities allege, racing each other in two black BMWs near the intersection of Highland Avenue and Melrose Avenue at roughly 2:00 a.m. Heading southward on Highland, the vehicles collided. The two drivers died along with an unnamed 30-year-old passenger. Another passenger, a young woman, suffered only minor injuries. The LAPD is investigating the tragic mishap and are seeking witnesses.
