Kasey Josephine Wafler Espinoza, 15, has been identified by authorities as the victim in a bicycle collision that occurred on March 20 in South San Jose. The teenager was riding a bicycle at 10:30 p.m. when reports indicate she ran a red light at the intersection of Highway 101 and Bernal Road and she was struck by a pre-2000 Toyota 4Runner SUV. First-responders took the youngster to an area hospital for treatment but she sadly passed away on March 24. The case remains under investigation.
