Kaitlynn Houghton has been identified by authorities as the deceased in an automotive collision that took place in Lancaster on November 14. Ms. Houghton,  a 21-year-old local resident, was driving a Lexus IS300 prior to 12:30 p.m., heading westward on Avenue F, approaching 60th Street West. Ms. Houghton’s car reportedly failed to stop at the intersection’s stop sign when it collided with a Jeep Grand Cherokee containing a passenger and Brenna Romines. The vehicles both overturned, reports indicate. Ms. Houghton died at the scene while Ms. Romines and  her passenger where taken to an Antelope Valley Hospital. The Lancaster Sheriff’s office is investigating the incident and seeking witnesses.
