Joshua Lowery has been identified by authorities as the deceased in a solo collision that occurred in Folsom during the early morning of April 9.  Mr. Lowery, a 28-year-old resident of Cameron Park, was a passenger in the front seat of a car that was being driven by Alexis Little, a 21-year-old Citrus Heights resident. Three other passengers were also in the vehicle. The car was reportedly on Bidwell Street at approximately 2:00 a.m. when it crashed into an object and overturned. Mr. Lowery died from his injuries but Ms. Little and the other passengers received relatively minor injuries for which they were treated. She was charged with suspicion of driving under the influence. The Folsom Police Department is investigating the incident.
