Harris Ahmed has been identified by authorities as the victim in a pedestrian versus truck collision which occurred in San Jose on March 28. Mr. Ahmed, a 21-year old male who is believed to have been homeless, reportedly ran across Interstate Highway 280 at approximately 8:00 a.m. when he was struck by a city-owned box truck. Mr. Ahmed reportedly died at the scene. The truck also collided with two other vehicles, but no injuries resulted, according to reports. The incident is under investigation.
