Gregory Wright has been identified by authorities as the victim in a South Sacramento pedestrian accident that occurred during the very early morning of May 31st. Mr. Wright was crossing the street in his wheelchair at approximately 3:30 a.m. at Center Parkway and Mack Road when he was struck by a car heading westward on Mack. Reports indicate that the driver stopped and called for help and that the police are not currently blaming a DUI or speed on the tragedy. They are, however, investigating the case. Mr. Wright was 63.

We extend our deepest condolences to the friends and family of the victim during this difficult time.
