Goldia Tombs has been identified by authorities as the victim in an alleged hit-and-run accident that occurred in Olivehurst on October 17 at approximately 8:00 in the evening. Ms. Tombs was riding her bicycle on McGowan Parkway. At the corner of McGowan and Dan Avenue, Ms. Tombs was hit by a 2004 Ford Focus, dark blue, license plate 7LESO58. The driver of the car fled the scene. Another driver, who reportedly did not see Ms. Tombs, also struck her shortly thereafter. The second driver reportedly remained at the scene and contacted authorities. Ms. Tombs was taken to an area hospital, where she later passed on. Authorities are seeking 32 year-old Violent Chance Johnson as a person of interest. The CHP is requesting assistance from anyone who may have witnessed the collision. The victim, Ms. Tombs, was 59.
