Francisco Torivioa has been identified by authorities as the victim in an alleged DUI pedestrian accident that occurred on June 23 in Santa Ana. Mr Torivioa, 41, was using the crosswalk at the intersection of Bristol Street and McFadden Avenue when he was allegedly struck by a BMW driven by Kevin Guardado, 26. There is some question about whether or not the driver had a green light during the time of the tragedy. Regardless, police arrested Mr. Guardado on charges of driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs. The tragic accident remains under investigation.

We extend our deepest condolences to the friends and family of the victim during this difficult time.
