Elizabeth Ramirez has been identified by authorities as the primary victim in an accident that occurred during the evening of September 13. Ms. Ramirez, 27, was driving her silver Nissan Altima on Highway 216 when her car was struck by a silver Chrysler that had run a through a stop sign and died.  The driver of the Chrysler, 23 year-old Luis Cabrera-Ponce, was being pursued by police, who allege that he was driving under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol. Mr. Ponce sustained a broken leg. The collision is currently under investigation.
