Edith Rubaloff has been identified by authorities as the victim in a pedestrian collision that occurred on April 21 in Ojai. Ms. Rubaloff, an 83-year old resident of the city, was walking through a crosswalk at the intersection of Valllerio Avenue and Maricopa Highway 33, when she was struck by a vehicle. She was taken for treatment by first-responder but died from her injuries. The driver of the car, an 89-year-old woman, also an Ojai resident, reportedly remained at the scene and cooperated with authorities. Ventura County Sheriffs are investigating the case.
