Earl Roscoe Little, 40, and Aaron Asher Vickers, 37, have been identified by authorities the deceased in a pedestrian accident that occurred on July 4 in Modesto. A third individual, a 49-year-old woman, was hospitalized with injuries that were described as critical. The three people, described by authorities as homeless, were resting at a bus stop beside Mission Road. At approximately 11:10 a.m., a Hyundai SUV reportedly went out of control, going over the curb and struck the three individuals. Mr. Vickers died at the scene while the woman and Mr. Little were taken to an area hospital with severe injuries. The man perished from his injuries shortly thereafter. The incident is being investigated.
