Devon McEwen, who died on December 16, has been identified by authorities as the victim in a pedestrian collision that took place two weeks earlier on November 29th in Sacramento.  Mr. McEwen, a 27-year-old resident of Reno, was in the intersection of Pecan Street and West Capitol Avenue at roughly 8:20 p.m. when he as struck a car described a dark-colored Toyota sedan. First-responders rushed Mr. McEwen to an area hospital for treatment for critical injuries but he died from his injuries this week. The driver reportedly stopped and cooperated with authorities but an investigation is ongoing.
