Dawn Andrus-Schienker and Guadalupe Perez-Perez been identified by authorities as the deceased in a massive six-vehicle pileup that occurred on Labor Day, September 2 in Desert Hot Springs. Details about the incident are somewhat vague but authorities say the crash took place at approximately 8:30 p.m. at the crossing of Palm Drive and 20th Avenue. Ms. Andrus-Schienker was 64 and a resident of Joshua Tree. Ms. Perez-Perez was 34 and a resident of Desert Hot Springs. Both women reported passed away at the scene.
