Chue Kue, 36, has been identified by authorities as the deceased in a collision that occurred on October 14 in Marysville; the driver of the vehicle, Tou Kue, the 27-year-old driver and the driver of the other vehicle were injured. The Kues, both Oroville residents, were in a Toyota Yaris heading  up Highway 70 near Chandler Road at about 11:15 p.m. when their car went onto the shoulder of the road and then, in an attempt to reenter traffic ended up in the southbound lane near and in the path of a Buick LaSabre being driven by Laurice Reed, a 30-year-old Marysville resident. Chue Kue tragically died from the incident while the two drivers both received injuries that have been described as moderate and were taken for treatment. A DUI is reportedly not suspected.

We extend our deepest condolences to the friends and family of the deceased during this difficult time.
