Christopher Jones has been identified by authorities as the victim in a motorcycle collision that occurred on July 29 in Oakland. Mr. Jones, 50, was riding a Yamaha motorcycle at prior to 11:20 p.m. on Highway 24 near the Caldecott Tunnel when he collided with Honda Accord. He was reportedly thrown from the motorcycle into traffic and died at the scene. The tragic incident remains under investigation by the Oakland office of the California Highway Patrol.
