Christine Cunningham, 38, has been named by authorities as the victim of a September 3 incident in which she was struck by a freight train at midday. The incident occurred on 17th Street in the City of Santa Ana when authorities say the woman was walking along the tracks. Little is known about the collision at this point, but authorities say that an investigation is being conducted.
Jamie De La Paz has been named as the victim of an accident involving a large freight truck he was driving and a pick-up. The accident occurred on September 11 at approximately 6:30 when the 2006 Freightliner Mr. De La Paz was driving collided with a 2016 GMC Sierra pick-up truck as it was entering the 210 West, authorities have reported. Mr. De La Paz was found dead by first responders after his big rig jackknifed and ran off the road. The driver of the pick-up track was reportedly unhurt. Mr. De La Paz was a 60 year-old Fontana resident. Authorities are still investigating the collision and have requested information from the general public.
