Chancy Hill Jr., a 26-year-old Carson resident, has been identified by authorities as the deceased in a pedestrian collision that occurred on September 30 in the city of Compton. Mr. Hill was driving on the 91 Freeway when his Mercedes-Benz C300 collided with a Scion, causing his car to spin around prior to 11:30 p.m. Mr. Hill exited the car and was struck by a pair of vehicles, including a Ford Mustang and Mercedes E350. The drivers of both vehicles described as a 32-year-old Rancho Cucamonga resident and a 47-year old  Corona resident both reportedly stopped at the scene. Mr. Hill died at the scene. The 31-year-old woman driving the Scion was injured and taken for treatment. The tragic incident remains under investigation.
