Celsa Anaya has been identified by authorities as the victim of a pedestrian collision that occurred on October 23 at roughly 6:30 a.m. in the city of Orange. Ms. Anaya was on her way to work and reportedly walking across Glassell Street using the crosswalk when a white pickup truck struck her while making a right-hand turn. Authorities say the driver did not stop and left the severely injured woman in the street. Ms. Anaya, a mother of six and a grandmother of 10, was taken to the hospital, but later died from her injuries. She was 58.
