Brittany Briscoe has been named by authorities as primary victim in a deadly two car accident that occurred on the morning of August 3. According to the California Highway Patrol (CHP), Briscoe was driving north on Tulare’s Spacer Drive, a road that long been widely considered to be unusually hazardous and which has seen a number of fatalities. The 21 year-old’s Chevrolet Malibu hit a southbound Silverado truck head on when, for unknown reasons, her car suddenly went over the double yellow lines and hit the other vehicle, killing Briscoe instantly.
Alberto Cisneros Jr., the driver of the truck, was seriously injured and is in critical condition at the Kaweah Delta Medical Center.
An investigation is underway at this time to examine the circumstances of the accident.
We extend our prayers and deepest condolences to the friends and families of the victims during this difficult time.
