Branden Ocampo has been identified by authorities as the deceased victim in a motorcycle collision that took place in Desert Hot Springs on April 25. Mr. Ocampo, a 27-year-old Perris resident, was riding a Suzuki GSX-R1100 on Highway 62 prior to 12:30 a.m. when he collided with an SUV at Pierson Avenue with accounts alleging that the 37-year-old female driver of the SUV did not yield to the motorcycle. Mr. Ocampo died at the scene while the SUV’s driver was badly injured and taken for treatment. An investigation is ongoing.
