Barbara Tanner has identified by authorities as the deceased in a two-vehicle collision that occurred in Ivanhoe on October 15. Ms. Tanner, 46, was a passenger in a vehicle being driven by a 24-year-old female on State Route 216 when it was involved in a head-on collision with another vehicle at approximately 6:00 p.m.. The driver of the other vehicle was 18-year-old Anmoldeep Singh who authories say was trying to pass a vehicle headed in the opposite direction when he and the vehicle containing Ms. Tanner collided head on. Ms. Tanner died at the scene while the driver of the other vehicle was hospitalized with serious injuries. Mr. Singh suffered more moderate injuries. Two 17-year-old passengers in his car also received minor injuries. An investigation is ongoing.
