Arda Gulesserian, a 65-year-old resident of the Corona del Mar neighborhood of Newport Beach, has been identified by authorities as the deceased in a deadly head-on collision that occurred in the area on June 5 prior to 9:00 a.m. Ms. Gulesserian was driving a BMW on the 73 Freeway when a wrong-way vehicle, a Mercedes station wagon reportedly entered the freeway at an extremely high rate of speed, soon colliding head-on with the BMW. The woman who was driving the vehicle died at the scene. Luke Fitch, a 23-year old Newport Beach resident, was driving the Mercedes and police say they suspect the act may have been intentional and were also investigating a possible DUI
