Anthony Ragone Jr. has been identified by authorities as the victim in a motorcycle accident that occurred August 17 in Fallbrook. A DUI is believed responsible for the deadly collision. Mr. Ragone, a 70-year-old resident of Wildomar, was riding his Harley Davidson motorbike on the 15 Freeway at roughly 4:30 a.m. when authorities allege that he was rear-ended by a Hyundai Sonata travelling at high rate of speed relative to the motorcycle. Mr. Ragone was ejected from the motorcycle and then run over by the Hyundai; he died at the scene, reports say. The driver of the Hyundai, described as a 24-year-old male resident of Menifee, has been charged on multiple counts alleging that he was intoxicated at the time of the crash. The tragic accident is currently being investigated.
